This is how many people stopped by to read my blog
WOW!!!!! I don't even know that many people!!
But--look at the number of comments left.
Why are you stopping by and not leaving a comment? You don't have to have a blog to leave a comment. You can just leave a comment and then type in your name or not. You can just type, "Hi Judy." and that's all it takes. I do love your advice, opinions and comments.
I just might have to do another MANDATORY, "leave your name and where you are from" comment requirement. If you don't, I will only post commentaries on the political races for a whole week!!! Now--none of us want that. Right?
============================
My Social Security hit my checking account this morning so off I went to get my hair cut, eyebrows tamed, inkjet cartridges refilled and litter and cat food at the grocery store.
Now, I have a question. Do any of you know someone who takes Prevagen? The memory helper?
I expect an answer in the comments. :-)
I think most people don't comment because they don't want to sign up to be able to sign in. Even my sister doesn't comment! She sends me a text or email. Oh well! That's a lot of reads, Sister Blogger!!! Mine are about 60 on a good day ....
ReplyDeleteThat's a lot of visitors. I see it also, but some are when I go to my blog to see of there are any comments, that also counts in the total.
ReplyDeleteActually, you can NOT include your own visit. Look in settings!
DeleteYes--I have set mine up NOT to count my visits.
DeleteNot going to argue - waste of time. LOL
DeleteI think we can all cut our view count in half. If, for example, it says you got 80 views in one day, 40 people probably came back a second time to read the comments left. I have been known to come back to your blog 5-6 times if the topic is hot like when you blog about Dar.
ReplyDeleteI really wish people would leave comments more often but it is what it is. One of the ladies who comments on mine occasionally always gets 30-40 comments on hers. I wish I knew her secret. Bloggers like to write and blog readers like to read but don't necessarily have confidence in their own writing to comment. It's a basic difference on why we love the blog community.
Julie from Cape Cod. I love all your updates and creativity!
ReplyDeleteHi Julie, from MA :-)
DeleteNo, I don't know anyone who takes Prevagen. I read daily, you know. Margie from AR
ReplyDeleteYes Margie, I know you. I wish I also knew someone who takes Prevagen--to see if it's safe. Thanks for commenting!!! :-)
DeleteI Always leave a comment...not everyone who visits me does...
ReplyDeleteAnd no to the medication, sorry.
hughugs
Thanks Donna! Hope all is well in Texas.
DeleteHello, Judy! lol I do read every day and miss it very much when you skip a day or two. I've lost three followers this week. Maybe it's because I skipped blogging for a week or two? My life as a farmer is so much different from most other women, that many times I don't feel like my words fit in with theirs.
ReplyDeleteI love the gifts Isabella got for Christmas!! She is such a sweet girl. ;-)
DeleteLOL, you are so funny....and I LOVE coming by each day. I have no knowledge of the drug you mentioned, but that doesn't mean much. My daughter-in-law is a memory care specialist and director of a memory care facility. I will ask her tonight. She is always up to date on the latest.
ReplyDeleteLiked your idea on the fireplace and moving the current TV unit. I am always wrestling with my quilting storage and do now have it down to the lower half of a closet in my bedroom and OUT OF SIGHT. Love it, and it isn't too much to pull it out when I need to.
Happy day to you,
Marcia
I so enjoy all your posts about Teddy! The photos from your trip to your sisters, were beautiful!! You must have a nice camera.
DeleteAtta girl, Judy....I'm leaving a comment and saying hello! I do love reading you every day and am always amazed at the parallels in our lives. I've been wondering about Prevagen too. Looked for it at Costco, but it wasn't there a month ago. Don't know anyone who takes it, so if you find out anything, I'll appreciate hearing about it.
ReplyDeleteKathleen From Aberdeen!!! I would love to try the Prevagen, if I knew for sure it didn't interfere with my old people meds. LOL. Maybe Marcia can find an answer for all of us. :-) It is awfully expensive, isn't it?
DeleteYes, from Aberdeen in the glorious state of Washington! I haven't seen Prevagen any where to check on the price. I would love it to be a preventative for Alzheimers, which runs rampant in my family. I know that's too much to hope for, and entirely unrealistic.
DeleteOK,ok! So I will leave a comment.
ReplyDeleteI look forward to reading about your daily life. I admire how busy you can be and how contented you are with everything. I am a fellow MSU fan.
Looking forward to Sundays game and then the Super Bowl to follow. Wish I lived nearer, you could teach me to crochet.
Are you happy now? haha
Why aren't you posting blogs--or am I missing them?
DeleteBTW--The game against the Michigan Weasels is on SATURDAY--CBS at 2:00 in the afternoon, at Crisler Arena!!!
See--if you hadn't commented, you would have missed the game!!!!
Yes, I am happy now!
I enjoy reading your blog, and your upbeat attitude. I don't usually comment on blogs. Maybe I will make a resolution to make more comments this year.
ReplyDeleteThat would be a really nice idea. Blog writers really enjoy reading the comments they get. By the way--you forgot to leave your name and where you are from, I'd like to know. LOL
DeleteI am Vicki, in Little River SC
DeleteYour old writing group friend Lisa now in Crewe, UK.
ReplyDeleteOHMYGOSH!!! Lisa! Are you liking living in the UK?
DeleteKim, our leader, has her own store now! All sorts of antiques and Americana stuff. I don't think she writes anymore--I don't either, just here in the blogosphere!
Hi Judy, this is Louise from Covington Tennessee! I look forward to reading you blog everyday, and I miss it when you miss a day or three!
ReplyDeleteThere you are, Louise!!! You have been having a lot of weird weather in TN--I hope you and yours are okay!! Thanks for stopping by and letting me know you are still with me!
DeleteYes, I'm still here! This weather is really something else- 55-60 degrees and sunny today, 32 and snow flurries on Tuesday!
DeleteAnd if you don't mind me asking- how are you listed on Facebook? I'd love to read your posts there too!!
DeleteJudith Walts-Miller
DeleteThanks so much! Hope your're having a good Sunday.
DeleteYou DO get a lot of comments. Its all relative. Relative to what I have no idea. LOL
ReplyDeleteI read some niche blogs that get 0 to none, though the content interests me. Why do I not comment on these blogs, either? Personally, I comment on blogs when two impulses intersect. One: the post is self-reflective, comfortable, and revealing, like a friend chatting with me. Two, and this is a big one: the poster replies to my comments. If my comments just sit there, flat, it's like the poster has dropped the conversational ball. Why comment if they drop the ball?
70-80 hits - that's a lot - so happy for you! When I read a post I'm curious about, I go back to read others' comments. So I count for at least 3 of these hits :-)
I never knew I was "supposed to" reply to comments.
DeleteHm-mm. Have I committed a bloggers faux pas?
I never knew I was "supposed to" reply to comments.
DeleteHm-mm. Have I committed a bloggers faux pas?
LOL There's no 'supposed to'. Just saying what attracts me to a blog is the author's involvement.
DeleteHi Judy! I have enjoyed reading your blog for about a year now. I love your honesty!
ReplyDeleteTheresa
Theresa from......???
DeleteThanks for stopping by. :-)
I am such a pest on Facebook I am sure you don't want to spouting off over here lol..
ReplyDeleteOh yes I do, Ms. Joanie!!!!!!!!
DeleteYou are my FOREIGN commentor!
