Brighton High School Senior Prom--May 17, 2014
Madeleine and Matthew
First--parents drive up and their daughter's come in and go up to Maddie's room to get ready.
About 45 minutes later, parents drive up and the boys have arrived.
All the parents stay to take pictures.
My Sweetheart--Matt
...and if the boy has a lot of class, he gives the girl's mother roses
Matt and Karen
...then the girls come down the stairs and out onto the porch
then the boys swarm the girls with their corsage boxes in hand
then these two thought they'd have fun with
a little American Gothic
then a party bus comes to take them to supper and the dance
one last smile for Gramma
I just found out that Matt is the class President. 450 kids in the Senior Class this year.
I wish Maddie and Matt would fall head-over-heels in love, but....it won't happen Gramma has to be happy that they at least had one date, LOL
And, aren't they all just beautiful!!! LOVE these photo's, Judy, and so happy you were able to be there! Maddie is gorgeous in that dress! Well, she's always gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteHow beautiful they all looked, especially your granddaughter! She could get married in that dress. What a great tradition for them all to meet at one house and leave on a party bus. I'm so glad you got to be a part of all that. What fun. Matt and Maggie might not be sweethearts, but there is nothing wrong with being great, life long friend and I'm betting they will be just that.

ReplyDeleteOh, how beautiful and young they all are. Those girls are a bevy of beauties. I see what you mean about Maddie's dress. It is tasteful and gorgeous... So traditional. How nice that they all met at Karen's house. I'm glad you were there to enjoy her day and I'm glad your wish came true.
She's lovely and he's adorable. What a nice group of young people. I love the bus idea!
