Onward and upward! something that you say in order to encourage someone to forget an unpleasant experience or failure and to think about the future instead and move forward.
Judy, I've never told you, but you look very much like my grandmother. Of course, she's been dead for many years. The last time I saw her, she was in her seventies and looked like you. Tall and straight and slim. Her hair was getting white. It used to be red, like mine (like mine before I decided to color it). You and I would probably look very much alike if I would only lose some weight and stand up straight. I'm not as tall as you.
Wow! You haven't really changed much over the years!
