I'm Okay!

I'm fine--really--just no time to post because I am putting the finishing touches on the latest genealogy and I want it done, mailed and arrival BEFORE Mother's Day!

Rainy and cold here for about 4 days in a row.  That's good as it gives me an excuse to stay inside, away from others, and work!!!!!!!!!!

I just found out today that it is possible for one to stay in their comfy, jammies until noon and only have a teeny bit of guilt about not being dressed.

  1. I'm glad you learned that at such a young age. LOL

  2. Jammies are a good thing! I need to invest in a lounging set so I can walk over to my neighbors with a glass of wine. My buddy does that ... in her kitty cat flannels and a pink chenille robe!

  3. I was brought up that you did your bathroom stuff, went back to the bedroom and did not reappear until you were fully dressed! My parents got dressed before they left the bedroom. I never saw my Dad in anything but his clothes and only saw my mother in her robe once.

  4. We always got dressed before breakfast when I was a kid. No one needed a robe. But I love the luxury of staying in my jammies on lazy, rainy days now.

  5. I get another Gold Star!!!! I've been noticing your "absence." But I "stifled" myself, and did not inquire! My Good! My Good! My Good! -smirk-

Yes, the weather is cooperating with your work ethic. And a goal is a good thing.

But you have a long way to go, to be fully guilt-free, about staying in night clothes. I go 24 hours, without batting an eye. At times. Some days just-feel-like-that.

Of course, I don't have non-family, popping in the door, like you do. So I have it easier. Non-family might look askance, at this happening. But family, dare not. Well, middle son gives me grief. But he is always giving me grief. And I, him. ,-)

Get your work done! But remember. Fair is fair. When your time is free again, you "owe" us replacement posts, for the ones you missed.
