Not much---

I got my hair cut today.

I got a genealogy book, bound and coiled.  I will mail it tomorrow.

I went to the Rich People's store and got 3 salads, a packet of Tuna and 3 Diet Pepsi.

I cross-stitched on the baby quilt--almost done.

I watched the World Series.  I probably should be rooting for the Indians, but I'd like to see the Cubs break the 108 year old curse.

That's it.

  1. Good morning Judy, and thank you for giving me, the link to your blog!!!!

Having hair trimmed, is a lovely boost, is it not? :-) I'm so totally thrilled with mine, since I finally decided to throw-caution-to-the-winds and let it grow!!!! Eeeeek! Grow hair, at 79?!?!? Yes, I did!!!!

And low and behold, I have a nearly Doris-Day-look, which I have wanted for years!!!! No, not really D.D. But bangs, and to below my ears lobes, on the sides. And it works. Easily. :-) Chalk one up for trying something!!!

I love, love, love that you say that you "still haven't figured out who I am or what I want to be." Me too!!! I'm still looking-inside, for me.

It's good to have a Quest! At any age! :-)))

    Late Autumn gentle hugs,
    Luna Crone

    1. I always wanted a "bob" hair cute--below my ears, turned under--like a short page-boy. However, my hair is naturally curly and wavy and although thick and heavy, refuses to turn under and when I grew it out, was like a Mary Tyler Moore flip--which was fine back in the 60's, but not so great now. LOL

  2. Beautiful! I'm rooting for the Cubs, too. My sister works for them as an usher, so it's a family affair. Every year, I try to get to a game in Wrigley field. Missed this year, and not going to pay 2K for a World Series seat!

The first game was so, um, slow, that I watched another show I'd recorded, and checked in every once in a while. Went to bed before it ended.

So glad to learn you're rooting for the Cubs! It's a tough call.

    1. I too flipped between the game and "Fixer Upper" on HGTV. ;-)

    2. Judy - I love fixer upper and all those shows like that, but Comcast not only raised my bill, but took that one off. Britt watches with me when I'm at their house.

  3. Sounds like a good day! Your short hair looks good on you. I'm growing mine out so that I can make a little ponytail! Layered on the top to take advantage of the natural curl and then don't have to get hair cuts as often. Spend my $$$ on being blond!

SNOW in you neck of the woods?
