I always feel better emotionally...........
when I get my hair cut--------
17 degrees for the next few days, with a wind chill making it feel like single digit temperatures, and I decide to get my hair cut. Weird Woman!!!
I wonder if that would help me! I have to wear a covering on my head when I'm out. My hair is so thin now it doesn't keep my head warm. lol Cold wind blew through this afternoon and snow is predicted for tomorrow. :(
I never wear a hat or gloves during winter, but today with the wind chill of 7, I admit I pulled on my knitted MSU ski hat and gloves to carry groceries in from car to house. Nose hair freezing weather!!!!!
Girl, wear that hat! I don't know how you all endure that cold. We have lows (at night) in the teens coming at us for a few days, and we're all like noooooooo! But I still won't set the heat above 60. It's more fun to wear socks and sweatshirts. xoxo and your hair looks cute!
Jenny, I was born here and lived here all my 77 years, so I'm used to it. In fact, I feel better physically in the winter then I do in the heat and humidity of summer. The thermostat in my house is set on 72 degrees--winter AND summer. :-)
Lookin' good! I kept short hair much of my life. Couple years ago when I stopped working I decided to let it grow just for fun. Has brought out the natural waves and curls even in our dry climate.
I recall wearing head scarfs when I lived in the Midwest winters, but guess hoods and pullover hats are the thing in snow and cold climates now.
I liked seeing your picture. You look really good! I can't get my hair to behave once I sleep on it. I always have to wear a hat in cold weather, so between "hat head" and "sleep head" I'm generally looking a bit wild, ---but I smile and hope people notice the smile instead of the hair. Nancy
Your hair looks great! It's so cold here, it's not funny.
ReplyDeleteWhat ever makes us feel good!!!!!! Regardless of the weather!!!
ReplyDeleteI am in dire need, of doing the same! The bangs are too long, and the sides are not even. Yish!!!!
But gotta' fit it in, between the doc appointments! -grin-
Lookin' good Lady!
You look beautiful!I always feel the same way when I get my haircut, love you
